I don't know if you've already done this, but the girls thought it was the coolest when I taught them about mixing and creating new colors. Like this: take two cups filled with water; put yellow food coloring in one glass; put blue food coloring in the other glass; the pour one of each color (while they're watching) into a third glass. I'm sure you'll get tons of 'woah!'s' They might want to even try it themselves! --jenn
