I have never watched Dancing With The Stars until this season. Since I am usually watching something while I feed the baby, I've been watching it. Man, I have to say, I feel so bad for Kate Gosselin on all levels. She's got some control issues, and is very stubborn, and can't dance worth a lick. Poor girl. Watching her try and jive was kind of painful for me to watch. I just felt so bad for her. Kudos to her for coming on the show. Sheesh. Maybe it's the norm to get celebrities that don't really know what they are doing?

Over Protective
My kids have been suffering from mild colds. Nothing too serious, but I've realized that maybe I have become a little anal when it comes to protecting the baby from germs after witnessing these two seperate occasions:
- When a friend of mine asked Morgan if she loves her new brother she replied, "Yes. First I put stanitizer on, then I can touch him."
- I was holding Truman and Carmen was sitting next to me. Graham came to see him and started to talk to me with his hand over his mouth. I asked him what he was doing, when her replied through his fingers, "I am trying not to breath on the baby." Carmen then gasping for air said, "I just hold my breath when I look at him."
Man, I've got to relax or I may turn my kids into germophobes. Hopefully it's not too late.

Greatest
My greatest challenges. My greatest joys. My greatest responsibilities. My greatest rewards. My greatest service. My greatest blessings. My greatest sacrifices. In every stage of my children's lives, they have brought out the best and worst of me. I have learned a lot so far and look forward to every stage that they enter in to. What a privilege it is for me to have this chance to raise these wonderful spirits. They really are the greatest.

Excited For School
On the way to school this morning the kids were talking about what grades they will be in next year. We expressed how exciting it was that Morgan gets to go to preschool next year, when Carmen replied,
"Morgan, believe me, preschool is really fun. You get to scribble!"

Is He Upset or Curious?
Graham would scrunch his eyebrows like this when he was a baby. Now his little brother does it too. When Truman does this, Graham says, "He's either upset or just really curious."
The Wasp
David took Graham out for a guy's day out. They went to lunch and window shopped. They ended up picking up this fun remote helicopter. Graham felt so special that he was able to spend the day out with dad. Watching this helicopter fly is a little like watching a bee hover before he stings. Graham actually named him, Wasp. The second picture is hilarious. He was just trying to get the hang of the controls when the helicopter started to fly towards him. Watch out!

1 Week Old
He's been smiling a ton in his sleep. (I wonder what he's dreaming about?)
David's back to work and school.
I was bluesy that he had to go back, but cried it out.
Grandma Thompson showed up last night, planning to spend the next few days with us, sweeping my blues away.
It's been a good day.

Baby Truman
Wow! It's crazy to think all the anticipation of how and when the baby is going to get here has come and gone. I am feeling great and so appreciate all the comments that were made by everyone. Thanks Sarah for posting! We are settling nicely at home now.
Last night I had a little spurt of the blues that all started when I accidentally erased my favorite picture I took of David and Truman looking out the window in the hospital. It's really nowhere to be found on my computer. That coupled with all the pains of nursing and engorgement and feeling like I can't do more than I really want to set it all off. I had a good cry and feel much better today.
My recovery has been pretty amazing after such a hard labor. It was crazy feeling all the pain of childbirth with the pitosin from the induction turned up on it's highest dose causing the hard contractions to come every minute and a half in the end. Good thing my body dilates fast there in the end. I literally felt like I was going to die. The poor anaesthesiologist was running in and out of the room trying to help my pain in any way that he could. He gave me a really strong dose and said, "I'll be back to try a few special tricks that I have up my sleeve if this doesn't take." Well, when he came back into the room the last time, I was pushing and it was too late. Luckily for me, I only had to push a couple times and he was out. He was still a good size for being 2 weeks early.
I have so appreciated all the meals, visits, gifts, and help given to me and my family. It's made everything run so smoothly.
Now, for a few random pics:
