I've been bad. I couldn't believe that's it has been almost two months since I blogged last. Oops. A lot has been going on with us. We have been enjoying our summer a lot. Here are a few things we have been up to:
*David is still commuting to Mt. Pleasant every day. It was really hard on us, but it's getting easier. I say that like I'm the one commuting. David is such a trooper. We went and looked at some homes up in Sanpete County, but we haven't felt like now is the time to move over there yet. We would actually be saving money to stay here, so that's what we're going to do. Stay here and pay off debt for a little bit. We feel blessed David is still close enough to commute. We may be changing our mind once the winter hits, but that's our plans for now.
*Graham had a birthday. He turned 11. Crazy! David got the day off and we took Graham and his friend up to Lagoon for the day. Just the four of us went. We had a blast! Graham has started 11 year old scouts and just went on his first overnight campout. He helps me so much around the house and watching the kids.
*We've been swimming a lot. The new Provo Rec Center opened this summer. We got a 3 month pass and have really enjoyed it. Graham and Carmen have enjoyed playing racquetball while I take the three youngest to the childwatch. It's been a really nice facility.
*We headed to Rexburg for Charlie's baby blessing. Almost all the family was there except for Sam. And Sarah and John left a little early for other engagements. We had a great time. Ben and Sara's family was here from Arizona. Dan and Sadie and the boys came from Pennsylvania, and Andy and Telaine came from Indiana. We didn't think Andy was going to be able to make it to the blessing, but he surprised us in the church parking lot as we were walking in to church. Tears were shed. It was a good surprise. Family time is really the best.
*Reese started walking a few weeks ago. Everyday she gets a little more sturdy on her feet. It will only be a matter of weeks that she will be running. She's growing too fast!
And here are a few pics:
